The Baby Tree Book Giveaway

The Baby Tree is a new super cute book that plays off of a child’s confusion of exactly where babies come from. While I do think there’s a time when this answer should be explained in detail, for now, I’m happy to share this playful book with my girls.

The Baby Tree Book Giveaway

Answering this question has never been this easy or entertaining! In the book, a curious little boy asks everyone from his babysitter to the mailman where babies come from… getting all sorts of funny answers along the way before his parents gently set him straight.

The Baby Tree is a new book from Sophie Blackall. She is the illustrator of several award-winning books, including Ruby’s Wish by Shirin Yim Bridges, Meet Wild Boars by Meg Rosoff, Pecan Pie Baby by Jacqueline Woodson, and the Ivy and Bean books by Annie Barrows.

I’m excited to be able to give a copy of the book away along with a soft kids blanket!

I was always told the milkman dropped me off!

  3. Amber

I was the youngest, so my mom got away with telling me a stork brought me.

  4. Cristy R

They come out of your belly button right??? :) That’s what I was told.

  5. Philip

Yea I always thought the belly button had something to do with it. I couldn’t think of any other reason we would have them!

  6. Heather M

The belly button, It opens up!

  7. Annie

Of course I’ve heard the one about the stork! But I was always taught about how God had created me, so I really just pictured God painting me up in heaven and getting to hang out with Him until he put me in mommy’s tummy! haha

I have to go with the story my grandma told me: Babies come from your belly button…smh

  9. Laurie Emerson

My grandmother was not sure what to say she told me that babies come from a special baby catalog. I swear that for years I really believed it and would ask my mom where her baby catalog was with my picture in it.

I can’t remember being told anything but my oldest of four sons told the youngest that we found the third son. He told him we were walking by the park and Mom saw a baby in a basket and said “Oh, look! a Baby!” and we brought him home. The youngest never told me that but when he was older he said he always believed it because he “didn’t look like the rest of us” He has like me and the rest have sandy colored hair.
