Saying Goodbye

I’ve been absent from The Mamma Mia Blog for awhile. As some of you may know, my very dear grandmother passed away recently. It’s been a rough few weeks, and I’m finally starting to get myself back on track.

My grandma was an amazing woman who has  gone on to a better place. I don’t know what I’ll do without her. I could talk for days about the special memories I have of my grandmother. From my first day of preschool to the day I left for college, she was by my side. She was my rock. I confided in her things that I haven’t shared with anyone. It’s hard to say goodbye, but I am forever thankful for the many years we had together.

Yet another chapter of life begins…

One Response to Saying Goodbye

Grannies are so special. I can’t even count the life lessons I’ve learned from mine. I’m so sorry for your loss but no doubt you are a living reflection of her. Now you can go on to share that same magic with your grandkids when you’re wrinkly, wise and wonderful. 🙂
